As Chief Pilot for ImagineAir, Rusty hires and leads pilots that have exceptional, amply proven flying skills, a passion for customer service, and a laser focus on safe aircraft operations. Rusty has flown over 4000 hours in the Cirrus SR-22, the cornerstone of ImagineAir’s fleet. Prior to ImagineAir, Rusty flew for a regional airline, following over 1000 hours flight instructing future professional and general aviation pilots. Rusty’s passion for aviation started at a young age, in a Boy Scout program called “Flight of the Eagles,” later becoming an Eagle Scout and earning his degree in Aviation from Ohio University Russ College of Engineering. There he earned his Commercial and Flight Instructor Licenses with Multi-Engine, Single-Engine and Instrument Ratings, and was hand-selected to be an Aviation Engineering Ambassador. Rusty also served as President of Ohio University’s chapter of Alpha Eta Rho, a national Aviation Fraternity.
